You can bring home your very own piece of Starcrossed original comic art!

Each Starcrossed strip is hand drawn on Strathmore 300 series smooth drawing bristol and cut to 6.75″ x 17″. I rough things out with red Prismacolor Col-erase pencils then ink with Micron drawing pens and brushes, depending on the comic. All of my final work is done with archival ink. The strip itself measures 4.75″ x 16″.

I ink directly on top of my roughs and use Photoshop to drop the red pencil lines from the strip. So, the roughs are still visible under the inks in all originals. I also use Photoshop to make adjustments, add any half tones, and more so as of late, add the lettering to the comic.

I like to have each original stand alone as a finished piece if I can, but with some strips there can be quite a difference between the original and the final comic that gets published online. All originals will accompanied by a high quality black and white print of the comic as it appears on the website. Prints are high quality black and white reproductions on 8.5″ x 11″ heavy white card stock. The comic image itself is 9.5″ x 2.8″. All prints are signed on the front in archival ink.
